THE PROBLEM:
An estimated 138,530 people in the United States will be diagnosed with leukemia, lymphoma or myeloma in 2008. New cases of leukemia, Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma account for 9.6 percent of the 1,437,180* new cancer cases diagnosed in the United States this year.
Every ten minutes, another child or adult is expected to die from leukemia, lymphoma or myeloma. This statistic represents nearly 145 people each day, or six people every hour.

Team In Training (TNT), the world's first, best and largest charity sports training program, is accepting donations for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). Your 100% tax deductible donation will allow promising therapies to be developed that greatly extend and increase the quality of life of those affected. The RESEARCH is KEY to finding a cure.
WHY TEAM IN TRAINING (TNT)?
Jim Piccolo’s longtime friend, Bruce Mapes, is participating in a 100-mile TNT bike ride and has set a goal of raising $20,000. The inspiration for this drive is another longtime friend of the Piccolos, John Klaus, who was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in October 1996.
